The Tortoise Tale
Slowly shuffling forward

Huffing and puffing, I shuffle onwards
With the hard shell upon my back.
Seeking solace in the shade offered
By greenery of my surroundings.
I’m seeking out drops of water,
To quench my ongoing thirst.
Offered by water pools on the ground
Or even by kind human hands.
